Clear as Night

Sometimes in life things move fast. So fast we cry to the heavens for mercy. We beg on our hands and knees for the opportunity to breathe. Just a few moments of peace in the midst of madness and chaos. There are other times when things in life move slow. Times where you're stuck working and working and working with absolutely no compensation in sight. "Keep your eyes on the prize," they say. "Your time is coming," they say. And well of course it is. Time always comes when it's supposed to, but never when you desire. What you want the most lands at the bottom of your list of needs. And it should come as a relief when the universe intervenes to keep you on track. Instead you're heartbroken, feeling half empty, feeling the large void in your chest because you want something the universe says you don't need. Me and Mr. Hollywood - Chapter 1

DISCLAIMER : So I'm posting a story I started and didn't finish. I want to come back to the story but in a different way so that's why I'm putting it on my blog. Feedback is welcome and much appreciated. And maybe this will turn into something I do regularly. Chapter 1 It had been the worst day of my life. My ex boyfriend had just broken up with me the night before and here he was plastered all over my TV. I just wanted to hide in the darkest cave I could find, but no, I was stuck in front of the tv staring at his face.. As I laid in my bed wiping away the leftover mascara residue from the night before I heard lyrics to a song I didn’t quite recognize but the voice was all too familiar. My blood red eyes shot up at the TV in shock. I thought I was stuck inside of some sick, twisted dream.
